The Masterclass

Clinical decision-making and the embryology laboratory, side by side

Over two days, theoretical sessions are paired with real-time clinical work and structured embryology-laboratory observation — from ovarian reserve assessment and individualised stimulation to oocyte handling, ICSI, embryo culture and vitrification. The cohort is limited to ten, so each participant works closely with the faculty on real cases.

01

Clinical alongside laboratory

Outpatient infertility consultations and cycle monitoring are paired with observation of the IVF laboratory workflow.

02

Decisions on real cases

Protocol selection, dose adjustment and trigger planning are worked through on real cases with the faculty.

03

Advanced applications

Male infertility, recurrent implantation failure and diminished ovarian reserve are discussed through evidence-based strategies.

Curriculum

Four modules across the ART pathway.

The masterclass moves from ovarian stimulation and clinical decision-making, through the embryology laboratory, to advanced clinical applications in ART.

01

Ovarian Stimulation & Protocol Selection

Predicting ovarian response (AMH, antral follicle count and clinical parameters), individualised stimulation protocols, GnRH agonist / antagonist and PPOS strategies, and the prevention of ovarian hyperstimulation.

Response prediction · protocol selection · dose & trigger planning
02

Clinical Decision-Making on Real Cases

Comprehensive infertility evaluation and counselling, ultrasound assessment of ovarian reserve and pelvic pathology, and follicular monitoring — worked through on real outpatient cases with the faculty.

Evaluation · monitoring · individualised decisions
03

Embryology Laboratory · ICSI & Vitrification

The IVF laboratory workflow: oocyte retrieval and handling, conventional IVF and ICSI, embryo culture and blastocyst assessment, vitrification and cryostorage, and laboratory quality management.

Oocyte handling · ICSI · culture · vitrification · lab quality
04

Advanced Cases · RIF, PGT-A & Male Infertility

ART in advanced reproductive age, contemporary management of male infertility and surgical sperm retrieval, preimplantation genetic testing, and challenging cases including recurrent implantation failure.

Advanced age · male factor · PGT-A · recurrent implantation failure
