Profile
Prof. Emin Üstünyurt
Prof. Emin Üstünyurt is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology who has practised in Bursa since 2011, now in private practice. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and completed his residency at Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Training and Research Hospital in 2006.
In 2011 he founded the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Training Clinic at Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital and served as its head of training and clinical chief until 2021, also chairing the hospital's Clinical Research Ethics Committee and coordinating training for the medical specialty board. Appointed Professor at the University of Health Sciences Bursa City Hospital in 2021, he founded a second training clinic there and chaired the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Health Sciences Bursa Faculty of Medicine from 2021 to 2023. He has been President of the Bursa Branch of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics since 2018.
His clinical interests are gynaecological cancer surgery, advanced laparoscopy, pelvic floor surgery and urogynaecology. He teaches laparoscopic suturing on this programme.
