Programme Overview
ATDERA's dental masterclasses are focused two-to-five-day intensive programmes designed for licensed dentists seeking to advance their technical capability in defined areas of contemporary dental practice. Each masterclass is built around a specific clinical domain — full-arch implant rehabilitation, soft-tissue grafting techniques, digital smile design, or complex endodontics — and combines expert-led lecture content with structured hands-on practice on models and, where the format permits, in clinical observation settings.
The lecture component is not introductory. Masterclass faculty assume a working clinical foundation in the subject area and pitch didactic content at the level of refinement, decision-making nuance, and technique optimisation. For example, the full-arch masterclass covers prosthetic design considerations for implant distribution, occlusal scheme selection in full-arch cases, and complication management rather than implant fundamentals. The soft-tissue grafting masterclass addresses tunnel technique variation, connective tissue graft harvest approaches, and flap design decisions for recession coverage in complex periodontal cases.
Hands-on sessions are conducted on typodonts and phantom head models, with faculty circulating continuously to provide individual technique correction and feedback. Participant numbers are deliberately limited to maintain a high faculty-to-participant ratio. Digital smile design sessions incorporate software demonstration and guided participant practice where digital design tools are used. All masterclasses are delivered in English with simultaneous interpretation available on request. Eligibility requires a primary dental qualification; specific masterclasses may specify additional clinical experience requirements.
