Programme Overview

Designed for licensed dentists seeking intensive exposure to advanced restorative and implantological practice, ATDERA's dental clinical immersion programme runs over one to two weeks and combines direct clinical observation with hands-on simulation work. The clinical observation component places participants alongside experienced implantologists and restorative specialists managing complex real-world cases: full-mouth rehabilitation with implant-supported prosthetics, bone augmentation procedures, and multi-disciplinary aesthetic-functional treatment planning.

A significant portion of the programme is dedicated to digital workflow integration. Participants observe and engage with CAD/CAM design processes using Exocad and 3Shape platforms, intraoral scanning protocols in live patient settings, and the prosthetic planning sequence from digital impression to final restoration. The simulation component provides hands-on practice on typodont and phantom head models under faculty supervision, allowing participants to work through implant placement sequencing and prosthetic steps in a controlled environment before returning to observation in the live clinical setting.

All observational activity takes place within Turkish dental clinics and hospital dental departments operating under appropriate governance frameworks. Eligibility is limited to licensed dentists with a primary dental qualification. The programme suits dentists looking to deepen their implant and digital workflow knowledge through structured immersive exposure beyond what standard CPD courses offer.

What You'll Cover

  • Observe complex implant placement procedures including bone augmentation and sinus lift cases
  • Attend full-mouth rehabilitation planning consultations with supervising restorative specialists
  • Observe intraoral scanning protocols and digital impression workflows in live patient settings
  • Practice implant placement sequencing and prosthetic staging on phantom head models under supervision
  • Review CAD/CAM design workflows using Exocad and 3Shape with faculty demonstration
  • Observe final prosthetic delivery and occlusal adjustment in complex rehabilitation cases
  • Participate in structured clinical debrief sessions with faculty at end of each programme day

Learning Outcomes

  • Analyse treatment planning decisions made by experienced implantologists in complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases
  • Demonstrate correct implant placement sequencing on simulation models under faculty supervision
  • Evaluate intraoral scanning accuracy and identify factors affecting digital impression quality
  • Apply CAD/CAM workflow knowledge to critically review prosthetic design outputs on Exocad or 3Shape
  • Analyse the clinical rationale for bone augmentation decisions in cases with insufficient native bone volume
  • Demonstrate structured clinical observation technique by producing structured case notes from live observations
  • Evaluate the gap between current home-practice capability and the advanced techniques observed during immersion
